この度、SH GALLERYでは、Backside works.の個展「いでよ！ 悪魔な召喚嬢」を開催いたします。
90年代の日本が誇るオタクカルチャー。そのエネルギーを糧に制作するBackside works.は、一貫してヒロインをテーマにして創作活動をおこなってきました。
今回の展示ではさらにブラッシュアップし、「美少女ヒロイン」というものに着目しています。原画（オリジナルキャンバス作品）をはじめ、レンチキュラー版画を含む多彩な新作を一堂にてご覧いただけます。
自身のファンの方々に「作品を通して、いつも応援してくれることへの感謝を伝えたい」と語るBackside works. が展開する新しい展示空間を、ぜひお楽しみください。

We are thrilled to announce that the lottery sale for our new lenticular prints will open concurrently with the exhibition launch on Saturday, August 15th.
Detailed information regarding the lottery application process will be announced on the official SH GALLERY Instagram account by the day before the exhibition opens. We sincerely look forward to your entries.
Furthermore, on Saturday, August 15th, and Sunday, August 16th, we will be hosting a special giveaway featuring Backside works. lenticular keychains as exclusive novelties. These will be distributed at the SH GALLERY venue via a lucky draw system. Please note that the giveaway will conclude once all items have been claimed.

SH GALLERY is pleased to present “Summon up! Devilish Summoner” a solo exhibition by Backside works.
Inspired by Japan’s iconic 1990s otaku culture, Backside works. has consistently centered his artistic practice on the theme of the heroine, drawing creative energy from the era’s unique visual language and spirit.
For this exhibition, the artist further refines this concept by focusing on the “bishōjo heroine”—the iconic beautiful girl heroine of Japanese pop culture. The exhibition will feature a diverse selection of new works, including original canvas paintings and lenticular print editions.
Backside works. has expressed his desire to convey his gratitude to those who have continuously supported him through his art. We invite you to experience this newly conceived exhibition and discover the artist’s latest body of work.

Backside works.は、福岡を拠点として活動するアーティストである。
ペインティング、スプレー、シルクスクリーン、ジークレー、ステッカーなど多彩な技法を用い、80年代の昭和末期、90年代、そして2000年代の平成日本のサブカルチャーへの憧れとノスタルジーを原点に制作を続けている。
その作品は、当時のカルチャーへの敬意や記憶を現代的な視点で再構築し、多くの人々の共感を呼んでいる。
リーバイス、コンバース、週刊少年ジャンプ、サンリオなど数多くのブランドとのコラボレーションも手がけており、その活動領域はアートシーンにとどまらず、幅広いカルチャーへと広がっている。
Backside works. is a Fukuoka-based artist whose work is rooted in a deep sense of admiration and nostalgia for Japanese subcultures of the late Showa era (1980s) and the Heisei era (1990s–2000s).
Utilizing a wide range of mediums—including painting, spray paint, silkscreen printing, giclée, and stickers—the artist reconstructs memories and respect for these cultural eras through a contemporary lens, earning broad resonance.
Having collaborated with numerous iconic brands such as Levi’s, Converse, Weekly Shonen Jump, and Sanrio, Backside works. continues to extend their creative presence beyond the traditional art scene into broader cultural domains.
