クォン・ハナの作品は、記憶と感情の可視化を通じて、一瞬の出来事が永遠の思い出となることをテーマとしている。言葉では表現しにくい率直な感情や内面の葛藤を捉え、作品に登場するもう一人の自分である「ナナ」を通じて新たな自分と向き合う。この創作行為は、自分自身の安定と秩序を見つける旅であり、彼女にとって絵を描くことは、内面を整え、自己を探求するプロセスである。「ナナ」の頭の上には甘いデザートや美味しい食べ物が乗っているが、作家は食べ物を単に食べて描くだけでなく、記憶する瞬間を共有し、過去を映し出す媒体として活用ている。日常で起こるすべてのことが作品の素材になるという作家の言葉通り、誰でも簡単に「ナナ」に共感し、思い出を思い出すことができる。
Hana Kwon’s works explore the theme of how fleeting moments can become eternal memories through the visualization of memory and emotion. She captures raw emotions and inner conflicts that are difficult to express in words, confronting a new version of herself through “Nana,” the other self that appears in her works. This creative act is a journey to find stability and order within herself. For her, painting is a process of self-exploration and inner alignment. Sweet desserts and delicious food rest on top of “Nana’s” head, but the artist does not simply eat and paint them. Instead, she uses food as a medium to share moments of memory and reflect the past. As the artist says, everything that happens in everyday life becomes material for her work. Anyone can easily empathize with “Nana” and recall their own memories.

권하나가 기록하는 모든 감정의 순간은 공감이 필요한 이들에게 작은 치유가 된다. 그녀의 작업 속 ‘나나(NANA)’는 지나간 시간의 향기를 불러일으키고, 관객이 자신만의 기억과 마주할 수 있는 매개체이다.
작품 속 나나의 머리 위에는 종종 달콤한 디저트나 맛있는 음식이 얹혀 있다. 그러나 음식은 단순히 먹는 것으로 표현되는 것이 아니라, 기억하고 싶은 순간을 공유하고 과거를 비추는 창으로 기능한다. 작가의 말처럼, 일상의 모든 사건이 작품의 소재가 되며, 누구든 쉽게 나나와 공감하며 자신의 추억을 떠올릴 수 있다.
권하나는 기억하고 싶은 순간과 그때의 감정을 그림으로 기록하며, 그것을 영원히 간직한다. 말로 다 표현하기 어려운 내면의 생각과 감정을 시각화하는 과정에서, 그는 또 다른 자아인 나나를 통해 새로운 자신과 마주한다.
